Sally Hansen X-Treme Wear Confetti Punch

Hey everybody!  How is today treating you so far? :)

Have you seen the new line of Sally Hansen X-Treme Wear polishes?  I've heard they are a limited edition Fall release, and I believe they're quite limited because I've only seen them in Ulta.  They are a nice mix of glitters that have that indie-esque look about them.  And for $2.99, I had to try one out!  I chose a pink jelly called Confetti Punch.

Confetti Punch was one of two, if I remember correctly, from the new line that does not have a clear base.  However, the pink jelly base is very sheer, so I layered it with my all-time favorite undies, Zoya Kendal.

Isn't this cute?  There is a LOT going on in here...the predominant glitter color is royal blue, and combined with the pink base, it gives Confetti Punch a fairy tale feel.  But there is also green and pink and a beautiful pink micro glitter.

The pink micro glitter totally makes this polish worthy of its name.  It looks like fruit juice pulp!!  Ah, go ahead and laugh...you knew the food reference was coming! ;)

And guess what?  This polish is surprisingly grown-up.  It is very glittery, but with an elegant feel.  I wore this polish to a business meeting this morning, and I looked completely appropriate...Prince Charming didn't even come around to ask me for a waltz.  Blast.

What do you think of Sally Hansen's new glitter line?  This is a very nice polish, wears well, and sells for 3 bucks.  The End.

Thanks for stopping by, and have a lovely day! :)

  1. Oooh I love this! It's so fun and sparkly and girly! :D My day's ok so far, thanks for asking. The engine light for my car came on, so I took it to the shop. $500 to fix, unfortunately. Hope your day's good and cheaper than mine! :D

    1. They're all pretty polishes...I don't know why they don't seem to be very available. Yay...I'm glad you're doing well. <3

  4. This one is pretty on you. It's an unusual color combo. I picked up 3 or 4 from this collection recently but skipped this one. I like it though and will have to check it out if I see it again.

    1. I almost chose another one (the bronze one) but decided to get this since I prefer a colored base. You should check it out...it looks more expensive than it is. :)

  5. I love that you wore this to a business meeting :) It looks totally fun but not over-the-top. My very first glitter was an Xtreme Wear, Disco Ball. I don't exactly get along with the Xtreme Wear cremes but the glitters seem like nice folks :)

    1. I always say I am so lucky to have a boss who doesn't care what nail polish I wear...he knows I'll pull it together and not embarrass him, LOL. :D You know, I don't have any X-Treme Wear cremes, but there is a shimmer called Marine Scene that is one of my very favorite teal blues. <3

  6. Yay for a blingy work friendly polish!! I love the assortment of glitters in this and the fact that it's limited edition makes me want them more! I have quite a few of the X-Treme Wear polishes but their glitters are definitely my favorite. You should check out Strobe Light! I think you would really like that one

    1. Strobe Light, that's what I meant, not Disco Ball. It looks like a disco ball :D
