Isn't she lovely? Ladie Eve is a grey creme that's a bit darker than dove grey and has a *little* hint of lavender to it. And rather than try to describe all the pink goodies in it, I'll let the macro do the talking:
Would you look at all that circle glitter?? Fuchsia and light pink, and a lot of it too. And to the naked eye, the tiny hexes look like little dots.
I have heard from some very sweet blogging buds that there isn't a color that doesn't look good on me. But true confessions time: I do not like grey polish on me at ALL. I think it clashes with my skin most dreadfully. But that's not going to stop me from wearing Ladie Eve! It's that pretty. I'm such a trouper. :D
What do you think of this feminine, classy glitter? Pink and grey always reminds me of the 80's...my favorite time ever! "Don't you want me, baby? Don't you want me, OOOOHHHH??"
You can find Ladie Eve and other Liquid Lacquer polishes on Big Cartel.
Thanks for stopping by, and have a lovely day! :)
Oooh that is lovely! There's something about these particular shades of gray and pink that go so well together. I personally love it when a glitter polish has bright glitters against a more subdued base... it makes everything jump out so much more. :)

I really fell in love with the bright pink against such a ladylike base. <3 It's not a crazy glitter at all.
DeleteErm... Sorry, I can't put together a complete thought after that mind-blowing macro shot.... I love circle glitter! What are you talking about? Grey looks fabulous on you. :D
ReplyDeleteI had a feeling you might like the macro, Miss Clare. :D I love circle glitter too...this looks like big, tasty droplets of pink! Aw, thank you. :)
DeleteTom Jones!!! Lololol. I sing that refrain often at home after I've done something decidedly unladylike. You say you can't do greys but this is very pretty on you! I do hear you, though, I've attempted to wear OPI My Pointe Exactly to results of the ghastly, death warmed over variety. Maybe it just needs a pretty topper. I'm loving your macro and for some reason it looks like something under a microscope but TOTALLY in a good way :D
ReplyDeleteYes!! Tom Jones!! :D That's hilarious that you sing that...oh my. :) Well thanks...I think it turns me a strange color? I mean, I am already white as a sheet, but this makes me look weird. Maybe it doesn't. You girls make me feel better, whatever the truth!! And yes...the macro turned out so delicious!!
DeleteOH GREYT!! (hahaha) Now I need this one too!! :P We probably ordered during the same big sale...I chose Pink Lemonade, 80's Baby, and Blue Pistachio. Now I kinda really wish I'd gotten Ladie Eve instead of Blue Pistachio. :-/
ReplyDeleteThat macro shot is fab!! Well, they ALL are, but girl you must have an amazing camera to get that kind of detail, clarity, and color accuracy! ♥♥'in it! :D
I do love my camera. Panasonic for the win!! :D Yeah, I remember we ordered from one of the sale at the same time. I almost got Blue Pistachio as well but decided on another one. You'd like Ladie Eve. <3
DeleteHi Melissa - I join the chorus - gorgeous on you, gorgeous pictures and post!!! Ahhh Tom Jones those were the days..... I think I am more of a seventies girl myself... But now honestly - this grey is beautiful on you - now I find greys very tricky - a tinge to labender and all is fine, a jerk to green and OMG - I save you from the rest. I like it very much as "canvas" for colored glitters though, it adds a dose of edginess in an understated way!!! <3
ReplyDeleteAhhh, thanks Christine! <3 I have very few greys...well, I actually just bought my first pale grey a couple of weeks ago because I remember Essie saying she liked to use light gray under a glitter. :)
DeleteThis is a really cute polish! I like grays on me a lot and the glitter is really interesting.
ReplyDeleteIt is interesting. I like the fact that the glitter is almost totally hot pink. :)
DeleteWhat the heck are you talking about? This looks awesome on you! I really love grey polish with a glitter topper so this is my idea of perfection:) Great photos, as usual.
ReplyDeleteAww, thanks. Of course, YOU are the queen of grey polishes, so that's a great compliment! ;)
DeleteSo pretty, it reminds me of overcast skies and cherry blossom for some reason... probably because I love both, it looks phenomenal on you!
ReplyDeleteAhhh, what a lovely comparison! <3 Thank you...I am quite insecure about me in grey polish. :/
DeleteWhat a fun shade! I don't think I have any polish with circle glitter in it.
ReplyDeleteWow...go get you some circle glitter, Thuy!! :D It's gorgeous!
DeleteHey that me!!! Sweet Melissa made this custom for me and asked if she could sell more!! I was more than happy to have her sell it. I always had trouble finding a perfect grey with pink circles ( i love circle glitter). It looks great on you and I'm glad it's getting such awesome feed back
