I'm Melissa, and I've been a huge fan of makeup and hair color and nail polish for over 30 years. I'm not a professional anything in the beauty industry, but I know what I like and what works well for me. I am not what you'd ever call a minimalist. I love wearing makeup, and I love makeup that looks like makeup. You'll never catch me even walking to the mailbox without my face on! :D
First and foremost, I'm a Christian. Secondly, I am wife to my best friend, Mr. Sweets (Brian), stepmother to the beautiful Princess Sweets (Hannah) and the handsome Sir Sweets-a-Lot (Hunter), a sister and a daughter. I strive daily to be better in each role!
Things I like are, but are not limited to: photography, art, music, zoos and aquariums, politics, holidays and decorating, costumes and dressing up, Poetic Licence shoes, and all manner of food.
Things I do not like are, but are not limited to: dishonesty, greed, unkindness, narcissism, people who don't ever return a compliment, people who take advantage of others, people who won't take responsibility for their actions, and acne.
My least favorite word in the English language is poach.
I name all my vehicles. I associate days with colors. I can't swallow pills.
