Black Sheep Lacquer Into the Void |
Black Sheep Lacquer's creator, Erin, describes Into the Void like this: "a clear base with iridescent glitter, and tiny brown & turquoise hex glitter. It's packed with personality and you only need one coat for it to look amazing!"

Erin's not kidding...look at this stuff...look at it! It's aqua teal and a coppery brown together in one iridescent bottle of awesomeness! I used 2 coats of Into the Void over black for the photos, and this is honestly one of the most gorgeous glitter creations I've ever seen. I know you see all the time that popular line "I've never seen anything like it"...so I'll spare you and say "I'll bet you've never seen anything like it." :P
***Blurred bottle shot to emphasize unbelievable sparkle*** |
Into the Void applies extremely well. The glitters positively glow. I used 2 coats of CND Air Dry as my top coat because I wanted a glassy finish...the result looks like diamond dust on my nails. I was a little frustrated because I couldn't capture the exact colors of the teal and brown, but I took a shot in my office with my iPod, and I think it comes closest.
Ugh...I don't really have gout in my pointer finger, honest. |
I'll gladly be the black sheep of THIS family. No wait...I want to be TOTALLY INCLUDED in THIS family!! |
Oh, and I just have to show you how the polish comes packaged:

ReplyDeleteThanks! I love it too! Teal and copper...well, you just can't go wrong with that. :)
DeleteReally sparkly color! I'm Canadian so seeing a Canadian indie brand is awesome :)
ReplyDeleteI thought you would like that, Lisa! :) I didn't it plan the post for Canada Day either, but it's pretty nice it worked out that way. :D
DeleteThe bag is adorable!!! And the glitter is completely gorgeous. And, nice way to work in the google reader thing, lol. ;)

I know...it is cute! And yes, this glitter is awesome! :)
DeleteHi Melissa, I always had a soft spot for those black sheep ;-) and yours is a particular stunning one. Love that office shot - I am also taking pictures there sometimes - who would have thought that those merciless overhead lights can be that helpful one day - LOL!!! The package? - Über-cute xxx
ReplyDeleteThanks Christine! :) And hey, my new office has GREAT lighting...spotlights and everything is soft and very forgiving, LOL! :P
DeleteThis looks so nice on you!
ReplyDeletePretty polish! You have such an eye for unique polishes. I love seeing what you have to share :)
ReplyDeleteWhat a great compliment!! That's terribly flattering. :D
DeleteThis colour is truly unique - and it covers extremely well! Most glitters take at least 2 or 3 coats to become opaque, so I am impressed - and the packaging is so cute :)
ReplyDeleteI thought it was unique and needed to come live with me. :) This is layered over black, but the glitter does cover exceptionally well.
DeleteVery interesting polish--I haven't seen this brand before, so thanks much for sharing it!
ReplyDeleteThanks Karen! I find it very fascinating too...and with a great formula, it can't be beat. ;)
DeleteGreat swatches!I Just ordered a ton from Erin and I can't wait to try them all. Unfortunately I didn't get this one, but maybe next order :)
