From the halls of Montezuma to the shores of Tripoli, we have the gorgeous and glittery Semper Fidelis!
Emerald & Ash Semper Fidelis |
Semper Fidelis is packed with different sizes of red, gold, and black glitters that correspond with the official U.S. Marine Corps logo. I used the dab method for this application, and I only needed 2 little dabs for each nail because I was able to get so much on the brush. I layered Semper Fidelis over Layla Ceramic Effect 20 (Mocha) and the result was beautiful!

And last, but not least, we have In Times of War & Peace, a beautiful red, white and blue homage to our maritime safety and security patrols. I live on the river, so I often see the U.S. Coast Guard out when I'm fishing. :)
Emerald & Ash In Times of War & Peace |
In Times of War & Peace has hex, square and micro glitters in a clear base. There are also blue stars! Of course, this would also make a wonderful Independence Day or Memorial Day polish. The glitter was very easy to work with and applied evenly. I layered In Times of War & Peace over Zoya Miley.

Both are fun glitters! :)
ReplyDeleteThanks, I think so too! :)
DeleteThey are both so fun and patriotic! Semper Fidelis reminds me of fall, and In Times of War & Peace is such a happy glitter mix!
ReplyDeleteI hadn't thought of it looking like fall, but you're right! :)
DeleteI absolutely love Semper Fidelis on your nails - the combination of colours just reminds me of Autumn! I'm going to be on the lookout for a dupe now :)
ReplyDeleteThanks Miss Jemma! :) I'm loving Semper Fidelis too.
DeleteThese are really pretty - I think Semper Fidelis would be great for fall.
ReplyDeleteThank you! :) LOL...I'm embarrassed that all you girls thought of autumn and I never saw it. Oh well...too much coffee I guess. :P
DeleteBoth glitters are really pretty, and I like the bases you chose for layering... it really shows off the glitters. :-)

DeleteAwesome post!! :-D Wow, I've missed out on a lot in my absence! I just scrolled through your posts on the rest of the collection...what a cool idea, and I love that they have true meaning behind each polish. I can't believe I've never seen nor heard of this brand before either... being a packaging sucker, I like the polishes for the bottles alone. :P Thank you for sharing an eye-opening indie!
ReplyDeleteYes you have! :) Yeah, I love the whole idea...and I think E&A has only started within the last few months.
