Cuckoo For This Color is SO appropriately named. Because you see, I am. It's a blue-leaning pine green, and I am nuts over it! It's got the shimmer and the exact same formula as my beloved Suzi Loves Sydney.
The Living Daylights is a clear-based glitter topper made up of teal, silver, and copper glitters. I'm sorry for all the glaring light on my ring finger, but every photo looked like this due to the intense reflective quality of the glitter. I love this polish!
It's the 3 Amigos with their sidekick, Midget Pinky! |
More photos. I can't stop admiring this combination. It's so autumn that it almost makes me want to drink cocoa or rake some leaves. Almost.
*SHIMMER ALERT* |
Wasn't that Swiss Collection great? Cuckoo, Diva of Geneva...need I say more? And I think The Living Daylights is one of the loveliest mainstream glitter polishes out there.
So there you have it...another fall offering during this week of 90 plus temps, LOL. :) Ah, I'll just wipe away the perspiration and wear my cozy autumn colors anyway.
Thanks for stopping by, and have a lovely day! :)
Yay for finding awesome polishes on clearance! :D This is a great combination. I think the unique and slightly unusual glitter colors in The Living Daylights makes it a little hard to pair with a base color, but the choice of a dark green really brings out the pretty copper flakes. :)

DeletePeeeeerfection!!! I DO declare! :D Now THAT is an accent nail!
ReplyDeleteI've had The Living Daylights on my "wishlist" for awhile...it's a good thing I waited...with any luck, I'll go to Ulta next weekend and it will be in the markdowns here too! ;)
Oh...good luck!! I got the last one there. It's even prettier in person! You will love it! :)
DeleteI really love Cuckoo for this Color. And The Living Daylights too!
ReplyDeleteThey're both fantastic, and I sorta stumbled upon this combo, LOL...
DeleteAwesome on you dear Melissa!!!! I think the Swiss Collection was the first OPI collection that hit shore here!!! And that glitter - I could not agree more A teal and copper are a perfect match - against your porcellaine skin it gives such a baroque feel!!! Great pictures, great post <3
ReplyDeleteOh, thank you Christine! <3 Oooh, baroque, is it? Your descriptions make me feel so Old World elegant. :D
DeleteI have come to the realization that I am not the biggest fan of teal shimmery polishes...HOWEVER, this one is darker and I'm loving it. Great combo!
ReplyDeleteIt's a really beautiful color...Christmas-like even. Makes you think of a blue spruce. And I saw several marked down at my Ulta! ;)
DeleteThe Living Daylights is so perfect for fall!
ReplyDeleteMmmmm, I think so too! :)

ReplyDeleteDo you have Cuckoo? If you don't, be sure to check out your Ulta clearance...there were no fewer than 6 bottles at mine. :D
DeleteThis colour is gorgeous! Green teal is the colour I own the most, but I do not own cukoo for this colour, lucky you to have found it in the clearance, and also for having that great weather!
ReplyDeleteHere in Switzerland we are already under the rain, bug storm, windy, grey Sunday... so yes, Summer it is officially over! :)
Your weather sounds fantastic! I am sitting here sweating as I type this, LOL...BUT I can still pretend it's fall and wear pretty fall colors. :D
DeleteWow I really love this manicure... definitely reminds me of fall! I've been getting so excited for fall lately, I can't wait to start whipping out more of my darker shades like these. The copper glitter with the teal/emerald is so beautiful. Love! <3
ReplyDeleteThanks!! I was really happy with how this turned out. And I love copper glitter. <3
