I Have No Words: Different Dimension Ocean's Daughter

Hey everybody!  I hope your weekend is going swimmingly well.  I say that loosely due to the fact that I'm extremely hydrophobic. :)  BUT on that note, it's always nice when the ocean does NOT remind me of the unpleasant thoughts of drowning.  Such is the case with today's amazing polish, Different Dimension Ocean's Daughter.

Looooook.  Are you looking?  This stuff is...yeah.  It's...so...awwwwwwwesome...Hey!!  Wipe off your chin, won't you? :P   Ocean's Daughter is a blue-tinged light sea green with holo all over the place.  See how strong the linear effect is in the photos?  As you can probably tell, I'm not even outside in the sunlight.

Feast your eyes on this masterpiece and not my paper cuts.  It would appear that stuffing W-2s is quite hard on the hands...

Ocean's Daughter is a bit sheer but built up quite well in 3 coats.  I had no issues with dragging, or pooling, or looking one tiny bit non-awesome.

I'm not one to tell you all what to go purchase...I mean, you're grown-ups and you know what you like and all.  But I feel the need to be bossy on this one and declare that YOU NEED OCEAN'S DAUGHTER.  That's as plainly as I can put it.  And if you don't like it, first go seek out some good therapy, and then send me your bottle of unwanted polish. :D

I purchased my Ocean's Daughter on Etsy, but you can also find it and other tantalizing Different Dimension polishes on the following sites:

And I just realized that my post title is a total fib...I had plenty of words to describe Ocean's Daughter's blatant deliciousness! :)

Thanks for stopping by, and have a lovely day! <3

  3. LOL LOL LOL!!! How could I possibly not obey ;-)! Very mermaidish and you carry them off so well. I got a similar shade by Jade, I dare to skip it therefore ;-). Isn't it awesome that holos finally have a formula that can be worn year round without ever looking flat and dull? My weekend goes smashing well so far - am on my way to a work-out to get those calories from Fondue Bourginon out of my body ;-) xxx

    1. :D I was amazed that this holo was so eye-searing. Wow, is it ever pretty. <3 And what is Fondue Bourginon?? It sounds fabulous! Just the name is making me gain weight!!! :P

    2. Swiss have a knack for Fondues - so Bourginon is a pot of boiling oil you dip meat in - I like my meat relatively rare so I would dip the chunks of meat no longer than 1-2 minutes into the oil. It is served with various dips, rice, fruit and chips as side dishes. And guess what we also have chocolate fondue - we dip slices of fruit in liquid chocolate - YUMMIE

  4. Uff da, I barely had enough blankets and clothing around/on me to wipe off my chin!! A totally stunning holo for sure! WOWZA. I have so many holos that I need to blog about. I suppose I could try doing one giant holo post instead of several separate ones.
Goodness, your gorgeous nailses are LONG! Has Duri been at it again? ;) I finally got some and I do believe it's helping. YAY!! :D
Re: the very first part of your post; did you have a near-drowning experience at one point? :-/ I can't even imagine... that would be SO, SO scary. One of my biggest fears is driving of the road into a pond because our country roads have a lot of them right next to the road.

    1. Isn't this loverly?? :) I think a consolidated holo post would be great from the Holo Back Girl herself. ;) Yes, my nails are never without Duri...it's second to none with my chemistry. <3 I hope it does for you what is has for me. And to answer your question, yes, I had a near-drowning experience growing up. I can still remember exactly what it felt like. I was already afraid of water when it happened too. I like being around the water (I live on the river) but not ON the water and not IN the water. But no worries, I do shower and am extremely clean, LOLOL! :D

    2. YES, loverly would be the word!! :) Consolidated post... like the triplet post we did for Essie except we each do a holo? Or are you referring to a post from Liesl since she came up with the holo back girl thing? I'm SO CONFUSED! lol
Duri does seem to be helping. Oddly enough, I swear the nails on my left hand (aka swatch hand) are growing faster than those on my right! WEIRD. It's like...they KNOW. :P
Oh my word... that sounds absolutely horrible. Definitely something you don't "get over." :( But I'm glad to know you still can manage to shower! Bwahahaha! :D

    1. Thanks ;) although I think the whole trick of it lies with the fact that the effect is so strong, you pretty much couldn't help but capture it. :D

  8. What does swimmingly mean, anyway? Adequate? Like you're staying afloat? I can't even think it without imagining myself a portly dude with a well coifed mustache, monocle, and nose in the air. I SAY! Okay so anyway, you KNOW I love this and would wear it to pieces despite the fact that sea green gives me the dreaded lobster hands, but perhaps that would be apropos in this case. You are ROCKIN' IT but I seem to recall mint/sea green is one if your colors... Lucky :) I would totally be down for a triplet/quadruplet/quintuplet holo post but not for another two or three months, at least.

    1. LOL...swimmingly well means smoothly. I SAY! It would not matter if you had lobster hands to the point of re-naming yourself "Claws"...you would wear this and adore it. <3 Ahhhh...I'm always in for a multi-bud post. <3<3
